Blade Runner "Security" Glove - Cut Resistance Level 5

In an ever-changing environment where, it seems, knives are being carried much more regularly than in previous years it is clear that security staff, door personnel and anyone charged with keeping the public safe need an extra layer of protection.

The new “Security” glove is lined with an ultra-high anti-slash material which addresses an issue which has been neglected in the past i.e. keeping the hands safe in a knife attack. If forced to confront someone with a knife it is helpful if you are able to grab the knife by the blade whilst minimizing damage to your hands.

Manufactured from 100% Polyester softshell Black the palm is made using synthetic leather Amara which is reinforced with genuine cowhide with a foam lining. The glove is fully lined with Bladenoma® ultra-high anti-slash material which provides protection to the hands where it is often most needed.

The wrist strap is elasticated and has the "Security" logo embossed with a Velcro closer.

The thumb and forefinger on each hand include Touchscreen material enabling the use of a phone whilst still wearing the gloves.

These gloves have been tested to EN388; 2003 by an independent UK laboratory and achieved the following results:

Level 5 is the highest level achievable.

These gloves are warm light and comfortable enough to be worn for long periods of time.
